HAND-TO-HAND COMBAT/KRAV MAGA FOR ON-CAMERA ACTORS

No prior training is necessary to attend this course. Students are not required to have previous martial arts experience.

• Safety basics of fighting for camera and how to use camera angles to maximize safety

• Understanding various prop weapons used on set made of plastic/rubber/foam/aluminum and how to discuss them with productions

• Basics of Israeli Krav Maga (Military & Police Hand-to-Hand Combat System commonly used for tactical roles)

• Techniques for moving, striking, dodging and blocking

• Weapons disarming for handguns, rifles, knives, and clubs from Israeli Krav Maga

• Basics of edged weapons use for camera

• On-camera reactions to portray injuries and deaths for hand-to-hand combat

Class size is very limited to allow for maximum one-on-one attention.  Seats fill up fast.
